Shenzhen Excellence Times Plaza will be home for new
Four Seasons Hotel
April 22, 2008: Excellence Group announced today that it has signed a Letter of Intent with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts to operate a hotel in Shenzhen at the Shenzhen Excellence Times Plaza. The announcement was made at a signing ceremony held at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong. Guests who attended included Mr. Christopher Wong, Vice President for Development Asia Pacific for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Mr. Li Wa, the Chairman of Board of Shenzhen Excellence Group among others.
Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen is part of a world-class mixed-use project, the Excellence Times Plaza Phase Ⅱ. This project takes up approximately 120,000 square meters, among which office space and the Hotel each accounts for 30,000 square meters and retail space takes up an additional 20,000 square meters. The building is 100 meters high and is comprised of two towers, an office in the north and the Hotel in the south, connected by a common retail podium with three stories.
The Hotel will be located in the south tower of Excellence Times Plaza Phase Ⅱin Shenzhen CBD. Surrounded by the central landscaped green belt known as the ‘huge living room of the city’ in the east, Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition p to the south, a building complex including Excellence Times Plaza and the International Commercial p to the west, the Hotel is ideally situated for guests, whatever the purpose of their travel. The grand architecture of Shenzhen Civic p resembling a bird in flight and Lotus Hill Park are also within the view of the Hotel. The Hotel will feature 230 spacious guest rooms and luxury suites, first-class dining facilities and a full-service spa, and is expected to be open by the end of 2009.
Excellence Times Plaza Phase Ⅱ will be another landmark project developed by Excellence Group, building on the existing success of Excellence Times Plaza Phase Ⅰ.
